We are located just two blocks walking distance from the ferry, which saves you time, money and transportation. Just 2 blocks from the ferry!

The space

What makes this place unique?

- Location: It is located two blocks from the ferry, arriving to the island you can walk there. Close enough to walk in a few minutes to the center of the island, the best restaurants, stores, bars and the beach (everything is 5, 7 and 10 blocks away).

- A natural refuge: Surrounded by jungle and local fauna, our hotel connects you with nature. From the high floors you can see the sea, during your stay you will surely see raccoons, and, if you are lucky, flamingos crossing in the back of the hotel!

- Ideal to disconnect... but connected: Although the island is rustic, we have something that many don't: good internet. Perfect if you need to work remotely or just share your adventure.

- Petfriendly: If you travel with your furry companion, they are welcome here (cost $10 USD per night). We just ask that you don't leave him alone in the room, if you go out, take him with you.

- Authentic and local location: We are located in an area where you can really experience the local Holbox. Very close to the hotel you will see several fishing boats leaving and arriving, run by local boatmen. It is part of everyday life in Holbox, there is also a small mechanical workshop where you can see the type of vehicles used on the island, some of which serve as a parts bank, because in Holbox everything is reused, importing or exporting things is not easy!

- Local Concierge: Don't know where to start exploring Holbox, we'll help you! Our concierge service is ready to recommend the best tours, hidden beaches, authentic restaurants and unique experiences on the island.

Our hotel has 11 rooms, making it ideal also for large groups, retreats or family/friends trips looking for comfort, privacy and a real connection to the island.

The neighbourhood

The hotel is located 2 blocks from the ferry, super convenient for arrivals and departures.

Close enough to walk in a few minutes to the center of the island, the best restaurants, stores, bars and the beach (everything is 5, 7 and 10 blocks away.

The neighborhood is very safe, although it can be dark at night, you can rest assured that the island is super safe and the locals are very respectful.

Interaction with guests

We have a front desk, however the receptionist is not at the front desk all the time, he lives in the hotel and if you need anything you can contact him and he will assist you.

To improve your arrival we handle self-check in.

We are always available for whatever you need.

Other things to note

- We don't have a pool or direct access to the beach, but just a 10 minute walk away (about 10 blocks) you will find one of the most beautiful beaches in Holbox. We also have alliances with beach clubs and for staying with us we give you a free drink at one beach club and 10% at another.

- On one side there is a convenience store that is very well attended by locals, which is very convenient for your stay. During the evenings there may be people drinking around, however there is nothing to be afraid of: the island is quiet, safe and full of warm and respectful people.

- You are likely to encounter birds, raccoons, local dogs and other small animals during your stay (Gekkos, Spiders, Scorpions). We ask you to respect them, we take great care of the environment and we are the ones who are invading their habitat.

- There are no paved roads in Holbox, and that is part of its charm: you live here walking or in a golf cart. If you decide to rent one, you can park it right outside the hotel.

Me encantó lo cerca que está del muelle del ferry lo que facilitó mucho nuestra llegada y salida de la isla. El centro y las principales atracciones están a unos 15 minutos caminando por lo que si no les molesta caminar la ubicación es bastante conveniente aunque en temporada de lluvias puede ser incómodo por los charcos. El proceso de registro fue algo tedioso entiendo que se solicita antes de la llegada pero se nos olvidó y no fuimos los únicos por lo que sería ideal contar con una alternativa más práctica. Durante nuestra estancia el wifi no funcionó en absoluto excepto en la televisión. Lo que más disfruté fue la estética del lugar muy bien lograda con gran atención al detalle y una temática bucanera muy original. Si solo buscan un sitio para dormir cómodo y a buen precio este lugar cumple aunque si prefieren estar más cerca del centro tal vez valga la pena considerar otra opción en temporada de lluvias pero en general la relación calidad precio fue excelente

Great jumping off point for Holbox. It's walkable from the ferry and the amenities are good and comfortable. The WiFi was not really good enough to do work from my room, but most people probably aren't there for that. It's about 15 minutes walk to the beach which can be long during the hot part of the day. I recommend an umbrella for sun protection. They were super responsive and flexible with my needs. I recommend this place for anyone who just needs to get on the island for a reasonable price.
