We are an ecological, pet friendly hotel, ideal for adventurous travelers, nature and local lovers, who are looking for a comfortable, practical and conscious lodging. We are located just two blocks walking distance from the ferry, which saves you time, money and transportation. Just 2 blocks from the ferry!
What makes this place unique?
- Location: It is located two blocks from the ferry, arriving to the island you can walk there. Close enough to walk in a few minutes to the center of the island, the best restaurants, stores, bars and the beach (everything is 5, 7 and 10 blocks away).
- A natural refuge: Surrounded by jungle and local fauna, our hotel connects you with nature. From the high floors you can see the sea, during your stay you will surely see raccoons, and, if you are lucky, flamingos crossing in the back of the hotel!
- Ideal to disconnect... but connected: Although the island is rustic, we have something that many don't: good internet. Perfect if you need to work remotely or just share your adventure.
- Petfriendly: If you travel with your furry companion, they are welcome here (cost $10 USD per night). We just ask that you don't leave him alone in the room, if you go out, take him with you.
- Authentic and local location: We are located in an area where you can really experience the local Holbox. Very close to the hotel you will see several fishing boats leaving and arriving, run by local boatmen. It is part of everyday life in Holbox, there is also a small mechanical workshop where you can see the type of vehicles used on the island, some of which serve as a parts bank, because in Holbox everything is reused, importing or exporting things is not easy!
- Local Concierge: Don't know where to start exploring Holbox, we'll help you! Our concierge service is ready to recommend the best tours, hidden beaches, authentic restaurants and unique experiences on the island.
Our hotel has 11 rooms, making it ideal also for large groups, retreats or family/friends trips looking for comfort, privacy and a real connection to the island.
The hotel is located 2 blocks from the ferry, super convenient for arrivals and departures.
Close enough to walk in a few minutes to the center of the island, the best restaurants, stores, bars and the beach (everything is 5, 7 and 10 blocks away.
The neighborhood is very safe, although it can be dark at night, you can rest assured that the island is super safe and the locals are very respectful.
We have a front desk, however the receptionist is not at the front desk all the time, he lives in the hotel and if you need anything you can contact him and he will assist you.
To improve your arrival we handle self-check in.
We are always available for whatever you need.
- We don't have a pool or direct access to the beach, but just a 10 minute walk away (about 10 blocks) you will find one of the most beautiful beaches in Holbox. We also have alliances with beach clubs and for staying with us we give you a free drink at one beach club and 10% at another.
- On one side there is a convenience store that is very well attended by locals, which is very convenient for your stay. During the evenings there may be people drinking around, however there is nothing to be afraid of: the island is quiet, safe and full of warm and respectful people.
- You are likely to encounter birds, raccoons, local dogs and other small animals during your stay (Gekkos, Spiders, Scorpions). We ask you to respect them, we take great care of the environment and we are the ones who are invading their habitat.
- There are no paved roads in Holbox, and that is part of its charm: you live here walking or in a golf cart. If you decide to rent one, you can park it right outside the hotel.

August 2025Die Unterkunft befindet sich wenige Gehminuten von der Fähre entfernt, super praktisch wenn man einfach nur ankommen möchte. 10-15 Gehminuten weg von den Stränden mit Restaurants, Bars, Zentrum. Wir konnten sogar etwas früher einchecken als erwartet, war super. Statt wie gebucht ein Doppelbett, erhielten wir 2 Betten - war für uns aber auch angenehm als Abwechslung. Auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlecht isoliert, Musik von draussen laut hörbar am Abend / gegen Mitternacht. Haben spontan 1 Nacht länger in Holbox verbracht, eine extra Nacht zu buchen war easy und ging schnell - super erreichbar.

August 2025No se dejen guiar por los mapas, el alojamiento está súper cerca del centro, nosotros no usamos un solo taxi, caminamos a todos lados, el alojamiento es precioso, nos encantó. Muy fácil de ubicar, muy limpio y muy cerca del centro y de la playa. Sin duda un lugar que recordaremos y que dada la oportunidad regresaremos.

July 2025EXCELENTE! LA COMUNICACIÓN CON EL ANFITRIÓN NO TUVO NINGUN PROBLEMA. EL LUGAR ESTA MUY AGRADABLE, LIMPIO, CÓMODO. LA UBICACIÓN ESTA FRENTE AL MAR DEL LADO DEL FERRY, A PESAR DE NO ESTAR DEL LADO DE LA PLAYA POPULAR, EN REALIDAD ESTA EN UNA CALLE QUE TODO DERECHO TE LLEVA A LA ZONA CONCURRIDA. ME ENCANTO! TOTALMENTE VALIÓ LA PENA Y RECOMIENDO! GRACIAS
